Good weight or Bad weight?


I've been working out on a regular basis for over a month and a half now and I began wondering if I was gaining muscle or just maintaining fat! So I did some calculations to figure out my body fat percentage. I weigh 152 and I have 17% body fat, which is about 25 pounds of pure fat! That means I'm 125 pounds of pure muscle (and bones etc...) or in other words thats my "lean" weight. I'm going to do this calculation again in 3 weeks to see if I'm actually gaining muscle or fat.
Hopefully I'm doing something right!
